In honour of International Women's Day, Spruce Meadows would like to recognize and celebrate the incredible women who have contributed to the success of our organization.
From the very beginning, women have played a vital role at Spruce Meadows. Our co-founders, Ron and Margaret Southern, worked tirelessly together to build Spruce Meadows into the world-renowned equestrian facility it is today. Mrs. Southern was instrumental in designing the grounds and facilities, as well as managing the finances and marketing for the organization.
Today, women continue to make significant contributions to Spruce Meadows in all areas of our operations. From our dedicated staff who work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure our events run smoothly, to the female athletes who compete at the highest levels of show jumping, women are an integral part of our success.
We believe in creating an environment that empowers women to reach their full potential, and we are committed to providing opportunities for women to excel in their careers. This includes offering flexible schedules to accommodate work-life balance, fostering a culture of respect and inclusivity, and providing benefits that support our team members' well-being.
