Saturday and Sunday of the North American tournament are dedicated to honouring our Canadian Military.
From Scotland, the Grade 1 Inverary and District Pipe Band will bring their world-renowned pipers and drummers and will be joined by the energetic Keltka Highland Dance Team. Local favourites include the Calgary Police Service Pipe Band, Slainte Social Club Pipe Band, Cochrane Pipe Band, and the Calgary Highlanders Pipes and Drums, each contributing their distinctive sounds and styles to the event.

July 7, 2024 (Spruce Meadows) —.An adrenaline-filled Sun Life Derby packed the stands at Spruce Meadows this afternoon, with Mexico’s Manuel Gonzalez emerging as the only rider to complete the incredibly difficult course with zero faults.
Gonzalez, aboard Martialis, successfully navigated 18 obstacles over 1050m including a steep bank, water jump, and the notoriously challenging Devil’s Dyke, famed for tripping up even the most skilled horses.

Thank Heavens: An emotional Conor Swail, of Ireland, celebrates his Grand Prix win on the back of his beloved horse Count Me In. A tearful Swail told onlookers how just last year the now 17-year-old Hanoverian gelding stopped performing out of the blue, but this year his ‘horse of a lifetime’ is back in full swing after successfully battling stomach ulcers.

July 04, 2024 (Spruce Meadows) — It was a sea of red, white, and blue as Americans Nicholas Dello Joio, on Cornet’s Cambridge, and Elena Haas, with Claude, came first and second in today’s Fourth of July Jayman BUILT Cup.
The 1.55m International Ring competition — the qualifier for this summer’s biggest Grand Prix event on Saturday — started with 64 but was whittled down to just nine jump-off finalists, with Mexico’s Patricio Pasquel and Chakkalou PS arriving third.
